Food Service

Food Service

Student nutrition is an important part of the educational process and hungry children cannot learn. It is the staff's pleasure to provide nutritious meals to over 12,000 students everyday. Bob Horan, Resident Director, leads a team of about 150 professionals who prepare, deliver and serve meals daily. At least one or more professionals in each of the schools have successfully completed and passed the ServSafe Food Protection Exam.

Each of our schools offers a variety of menu choices for breakfast and lunch, as well as a la carte items in our intermediate and secondary schools. Our department also caters many special events for the district, prepares meals for athletic teams, provides snacks for faculty meetings and much more.

*Free and Reduced Applications may be turned in at your child's school or at the Warren Education and Community Center, 975 N Post Road.
