Honors and Achievements

  • CIA teachers were awarded 2013 Warren Foundation Grants in the amount of $1,500.00 for the following grants:
    Reading for a Common Core Goal  to support instruction in the English/Language Arts Common Core Stantards, $500 ~ Ms. Jennifer Rogers
    Paired Fiction Program designed so that each fictional literatue selection will be paired with a non-fictional resource selection with the same topic to enable students to delve into deeper comprehension, $500 ~ Ms. Marie Schwartz
    Inspiring Minds to Create the Future through STEM for school-wide projects in science, technology, engineering and math, $500 ~ Ms. Jennifer Rogers, Ms. Carlota Dall and Ms. Kathy Broadlick.

  • CIA and Warren Township were chosen for the National Professional Development Center grant through Indiana Resource Center for Autism on Professional Development on Evidence-Based Practices in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The mission of Creston Intermediate Academy is to provide learning experiences that assist students in developing the skills needed to be successful throughout their schooling and beyond.
